I don't know what's going on, but I re-committed myself to WW and this time I'm actually realizing what they mean by it's a lifestyle change. I always was in DIET mode. Like, I'll eat good all week and then Saturday I can eat whatever I want. Then Saturday would come and I would resort to my poor eating habits. Now, (well for the past week and a bit) I have little splurges here and there, but I track everything and it's all accounted for. And I stay well within my points and don't feel deprived at all. It's crazy. The weight is falling off (I jump on the scale every day and it says I'm down another lb since Wednesday). I doubt it will keep up, but I don't really care about the scale (too much). I feel good, my clothes are fitting, I have more energy and I honestly think that's why my runs were going so poorly, I wasn't eating well and my body was feeling icky.
I have a wedding to attend to tomorrow (my first East Indian wedding) and I'm sure the food will be DELICIOUS and new to me, so I will be experimenting, but I'll certainly be mindful of my portions.
It's my day off running today, but it rained last night so it's probably not as icky humid as it has been so after we go to our playgroup, I think we'll go out for a long (around 8K) walk. Unless the heat takes a turn for the worst :)

2 people had this to say:
Sweet. 8) Now stop jumping on that scale everyday--silly goose! (*sigh* I do it too though.)
Gosh, it doesn't feel any better out there, and I was hoping to take Kailey out.
Yeah we went to an outdoor playgroup this morning and I was sweating buckets by the time I got home (at least I walked there and back)....
