I didn't have as much strength as I would have liked, but I definitely ate less then I was anticipating I would.
But yesterday we had breakfast out, no lunch, lasagna for supper with a piece of cake and two peanut butter cookies. Around 11pm I woke up with my throat on fire, the dreaded return on the pregnancy heartburn. It was horrible. I spent most of the night in the bathroom, so today I'm totally wiped and not able to keep anything down.
It was a really nice reminder to keep my diet healthy and full of good foods.
My goal is to eat three healthy meals a day and then if I want a treat on top of that, I can have something, so long as I get in those three healthy meals. I have to remember there's someone inside of me who is relying on getting the proper nutrients they need. It's not just about me anymore.
