This post has nothing to do with weight loss, and everything to do with community.
We moved recently, and I'm SO happy with our new house and neighbourhood. We've gotten to know our neighbours, our kids play together, there's always someone outside doing something and wanting to strike up a conversation, and last night? The doorbell rang around 7pm.
We opened the door, no one was there (except a stray cat that Beckett been playing with earlier), and this:
The note, along with two bags of candies (with our kids names on them!). How great is that? I just moved into a new job at work, and am considering doing it here as well. I love doing fun little things, getting involved, breaking the ice when trying to meet people and just having a sense of community.
