The sound, that is, of me hitting rock bottom this weekend. It finished off with the consumption of a king sized caramilk bar and 1/2 a container of Haagen Daaz ice cream.
It's a vicious cycle, I get sad/depressed... so I eat. I KNOW I'm not hungry, but I want to eat so that I can get more sad. Then I see the numbers go up on the scale, I get more sad and depressed so I eat more.
So, I am stopping the cycle today. I gained 5 lbs of the 10 that I lost, but I'm still ahead of the game. I have a plan. I have a schedule. I have healthy food.
I'm currently at 162 and my goal is 150. When I get there, I am pretty sure I will want to be lower, but I don't want to set my goal too high (err low?) and then get frusterated.
Let the games begin!

Starting again?
I started the Beck Diet solution a couple of weeks ago. The past week or so I haven't been following it at all (visitors, cottage, busy... I could come up with a million excuses) but the bottom line is I want to start again.
I wonder if I should pick up from where I left off or if I should start again from Day 1.
The first week focussed on things I pretty much do already. I may be OK with starting with week 2 (when you're supposed to start your food diet), but I wonder if there was a break in the middle of it - will it take away from the 6 week program? Does it need to be a straight 6 weeks?
Anyone doing the Beck Diet solution have any thoughts?

Paying for it now!
Evil scale. Evil Evil Evil scale! Why is that the more fun my weekend is, a higher number shows on the scale? I'm working on changing that.
Anyways, I've moved on.
I had yummy oatmeal (Organic quick oats, made with water), banana, almond butter and flax seed. Warmed me up and tasted oh so good.
Lunch is chili (we make a batch every couple weeks and freeze it in lunch sized tupperware), carrots and cucumbers.
Haven't decided on supper yet, I was home for maybe an hour this weekend (wake-time hours that is) so needless to say I didn't plan my meals or do a grocery shopping (that's on the TO DO for tonight). And, a walk with Lisa and Jenn (Jenn is who's cottage I want to this weekend and asked her if she wanted to start walking and she said yes!). Look at me, making friends!
